  28. This disk is a double-sided disk. All
  29. of the programs that will run under
  30. ProDOS are on the ProDOS formatted
  31. front side of the disk, and all that
  32. will run under DOS 3.3 are on the
  33. back side of the disk. Some programs
  34. will run under both operating systems
  35. and are included on both sides of this
  36. disk.
  37. You're currently using the DOS 3.3 side
  38. of the disk.

  40. Before using the programs on this disk,
  41. you should make a work disk for each 
  42. program. This can be done by first 
  43. making a complete copy of the disk with
  44. one of the following programs:
  45.  
  46. * COPYA (DOS 3.3 System Master)
  47. * FILER (ProDOS Utilities Disk)
  48. * The Apple IIc or Apple IIGS
  49.   Utilities Disk
  50. * Any Disk Copy Program
  51.  
  52. Then boot the copied disk and delete 
  53. all of the files that are not related 
  54. to the program by using the DELETE 
  55. command. The System Utilities program
  56. also has an option to DELETE files.

  58. You will not be able to delete the 
  59. titles that we've placed in the 
  60. catalog to separate files. However, 
  61. these will not interfere with the 
  62. operation of the programs.

  64. The screen displays that follow show 
  65. the files needed to create working 
  66. copies of each program.

  68. To create a work disk for NEWSMAKER,
  69. remove all but the following files 
  70. from a copy of this disk:

  163. is a utility published in every issue
  164. of Nibble that aids in typing in
  165. programs from the magazine. See the
  166. Typing Tips in the latest issue of
  167. Nibble for details on using CHECKIT.

  170. assembly language programs have been
  171. included on this side of the disk.
  172. These files are included expressly for
  173. experienced programmers.  These files
  174. cannot be used unless you own the 
  175. appropriate assembler.
